- No, you don’t need any prior experience with surfing or wakeboarding.
While having some balance skills might help, Flyfoil school is designed for beginners, and our instructors will guide you through every step.
2. How long does an eFoil lesson last?
- eFoil lessons usually last between 1 to 2 hours. we offer half-day or full-day packages, especially if you’re looking to progress faster.
3. Is it safe to learn eFoiling?
- Yes, We prioritize safety, and provide safety equipment like helmets and life jackets, instructors monitor you closely to ensure you’re comfortable with the sport. You’ll also be taught safe practices for using the board.
4. What should I wear to an eFoil lesson?
- We will provide a wetsuit, but it’s a good idea to wear swimwear underneath. You need to bring your own towel and sunscreen.
5. What equipment is provided?
- We provide the eFoil board, safety gear (helmet, life vest, shoes), and a wetsuit. We use radio contact during the lessons
6. How much do eFoil lessons cost?
- The cost of lessons varies by location, but prices typically range from $69 to $95 per lesson. We offer discounted packages for multiple lessons or group bookings.

7. Can I rent an eFoil after my lesson?
- Yes, we offer rentals for students after they’ve completed their lessons. Some may require a certain level of skill or a refresher lesson before renting out the equipment.
8. What are the age requirements for an eFoil lesson?
- Minimum age requirement is 14jr.
9. How do I book a lesson at an eFoil school?
- You can book lessons directly through Whatsapp and our contactform on the website. It’s best to book in advance, especially during busy seasons, to ensure availability.
We don’t use an agenda because the activities are determined by the weather. we therefore plan max 5 days ahead.
10. Can I learn eFoiling if I can’t swim?
- While knowing how to swim is mandatory! We do cater for beginners and provide life jackets for extra safety. You’ll be under the supervision of an instructor, and they will ensure you feel safe during the lesson.
11. What if I’m nervous about learning?
- It’s completely normal to feel nervous, especially if you’re new to water sports. Our instructors are trained to help you build confidence, and they will provide plenty of support throughout the lesson.
12. Can I buy an eFoil after my lesson?
- unfortunately we do not sell efoils.
13. What happens if the weather is bad?
- If the weather is unsafe (such as high winds, storms, or rough waters), we will reschedule the lesson or offer a refund. We will always check the weather conditions before your lesson.
14. Can we get group lessons?
- Yes, we offer small group lessons for max 3 persons. We currently have 1 Efoil and a 2 person sup for those waiting for their turn.
15. Is there a place to change? is there a shower?
- Yes, we have a changing room.
- A solar shower for rinsing off sand and sea water.
