What is Efoiling??
Efoiling is ectric surfing on a specially designed board with a hydrofoil underneath.
The foil is an underwater wing structure powered by a silent, battery-powered electric motor.
You control the speed with a remote control attached to a wrist strap.

The foil works much like an airplane.
There are front and back wings at the bottom of a mast.
As soon as you reach about 15 km/h, these wings provide enough lift to lift the board out of the water.

It’s easy for beginners

Once you’re “on the foil,” balance becomes crucial.
Unlike cycling, you have to maintain your balance not only sideways but also front-to-back.
This requires some coordination and practice!

You don’t need wind or waves, which makes efoiling possible on a wide variety of waters.
It’s easy for beginners – with the right guidance, you’ll make rapid progress.
Most people get the hang of it within an hour, and can Efoil independently after a few lessons.

We use Sifly Stellar Efoils.
This high-quality carbon material is extra light and provides a direct response.
The carbon boards have a 99-liter capacity, and for extra buoyancy, there’s a 50-liter Floaty.

We offer Efoil activities for beginners to advanced riders,
at various locations in the south of the island.

Once you’ve mastered the Efoil,
you can learn to do tricks and explore this magnificent coastline!
We can even take a trip to the next village, have a drink on a terrace, and then glide back down:)

WHO ARE WE ?

Hello!! I’m Wouter, your personal efoil instructor!

A passionate kitesurfer and instructor (IKO) since 2019.

How did I get involved with efoiling?
Due to a traffic accident, I broke my shinbone, which meant I could no longer pursue my passion to kitesurf.
The impact of the board on the water was too much for me during my rehabilitation.
That’s why I started foiling (kitefoil)

This was the right choice and a fantastic new chapter in the kitesurfing experience.
Experienced water sports enthusiasts are often interested in foiling but find it a big step to take.

Efoiling makes foiling accessible in an easy-to-learn way.

That’s what I love about Efoiling!
Even friends and family who aren’t into water sports find it incredibly fun.

In early 2025, we started an Efoil school named Flyfoil.

We are in the winter months,
from November to April in Fuerteventura.
And the summer months in the Netherlands

E-foiling gives you a sense of adventure, freedom, adrenaline, and fun.
You just have to discover it for yourself!

For a small extra cost Walter the Flying Dutchman took me on two tours of the coastline, both were great. The equipment is si fly which is a great brand and he keeps it in top top condition. I can thoroughly recommend renting from Walter. Give it a go folks - it’s a great experience.

After clear instructions, we went out on the water and quickly took our first steps from lying down to sitting and then standing!  Verified watersport Met de applink op de website snel en prettig app contact met Wouter.Op zee bij het strand Playa de la Jaqueta op Fuerteventure kreeg ik 1 uur les. Eerst de wetsuit, schoenen, drijfvest aan en helm op. Radiocontact met instructeur werkt goed. Wouter zijn aanbod, om extra band met lucht bij de Efoil, aangenomen. Dit gaf meer stabiliteit.Vooraf zijn tutorial op zijn website gekeken.Daardoor wist ik wat ik aan het doen was. Wouter zijn aanwijzingen hielpen mij verder. "Staand" op mijn knieën heb ik meerdere keren gezweefd over het water.Heerlijk zo zweven. 😃Gaan staan op mijn voeten was voor mij niet haalbaar ivm de golven bij windkracht 5.Hiervoor is meer ervaring en gevoel krijgen nodig 😇Wouter dank voor de leuke, goede les.
